Pinnacle Ski, A Brand-New Ski School And Travel Specialist, Launches In Megeve, France

Founded by Christian Jensen, Pinnacle Ski is a brand-new ski school and travel specialist based in the renowned resort of Megève, France. Christian has been a passionate skier since he was three years old and is now an ISIA BASI Level 3 instructor and Alpine Race Coach Level 2.

Christian Jensen, Founder said "I began skiing at the age of 3 and at the age of 8 I started racing for Sandown Park Ski Race Club, Surrey. After a number of years skiing for the club I qualified for the England team, where I stayed for the next two years. During my time in the England team, I raced all over Europe.  At the age of 17, 3 other athletes and I decided to set up our own team based in Megève, with a French coach, racing on the FIS circuit for GB.

"I retired from racing in 2016.  I knew that I wanted to work in the mountains and pass my knowledge onto others who love this sport.  Having spent a huge amount of time travelling and living throughout the Alps whilst training and racing, I have a wealth of knowledge about this area. I also spent 5 years living in Megève, during this time gaining great knowledge of the Evasion Mont Blanc area."

Pinnacle Ski has been designed to take the hassle out of planning a ski holiday, organising chalets, hotels, restaurants and instruction. Plus, Pinnacle Ski also offers unique off-piste / heliskiing trips with a private guide and instructor. The company has its own beautiful chalet too, which is ideal for families, friends and business getaways.

Named after one of Christian’s sisters, Chalet Anna (sleeping 8-12) is a ski-in, ski-out home-from-home that boasts traditional alpine design combined with contemporary indulgences. Inside, bold-wooden beams break from the stone of the chalet’s interior, housing an open fireplace and an extensive wine cellar (200 bottle capacity).

The four en-suite bedrooms, two bunk beds, a large garden and a separate TV room make it well suited for large parties. WiFi can be found throughout, plus guests can make the most of the sound system, Apple TV and garage for two cars. Outside, the view from the hot tub captures the vast expanse of the Aravis mountains, accented by the massif du Mont Blanc.

The cobbled streets of Megève’s town centre (just five minutes away) are laced with numerous boutique shops and Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as an open-air ice rink.
