Pass Powderkeg, Upgrades For 20 - 21 Season

Albert's Pass Powderkeg has spelled out upgrades for the 20-21 season. They say:

A lot of hard work has been done this summer to upgrade Pass Powderkeg and we're excited to announce the following changes:
Lower Lift Extension
To improve the "ski-ability" and the flow of our mid-mountain area, we're in the final stages of completing the largest infrastructure upgrade since the current lifts were installed in the 1980s.  Practically, we are lengthening the lower lift by moving the return station further uphill, about 80m past its existing location and set it back into Spina.  Two more towers were added to the top and one will be added between Tower 3 and 4.  What this means is Skiers & Snowboarders will offload higher up and take advantage of gravity and new downhill lanes to head to the upper lift or back to the lodge.
New SnowCat
Any day now, our brand new Prinoth Bison X Snow Groomer will be arriving.  This awesome machine will replace our 1991 Bombardier 400+ snowcat, which is headed to the Salmo Ski Hill in B.C.  The new snowcat will improve our grooming and terrain park operations through better efficiency and increased functionality.
Lighting Upgrade
Through the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre Recreation Energy Conservation program, we were able to replace our old lighting both indoors and out with energy efficient LEDs.  The result will be a very noticeable increase in lighting during night skiing and much lower power bills which warms our not-for-profit hearts.

Scanning / E-Commerce Upgrade
Thanks to a Travel Alberta grant, we were able to upgrade our systems to allow for barcoded passes and scanning this season.  This major upgrade will allow you to scan passes at lifts, order food online and will improve our backend systems substantially.  When you purchase online this season, things will look a little different so watch for that.
Washroom Upgrades
In partnership with the Pass Powderkeg Ski Society, have received a grant from the FCC AgriSpirit Fund to improve our lodge washroom facilities.  We will be looking to upgrade fixtures, lighting, ventilation and flooring.  We only just received the good news of this grant, so me may not get everything completed in time for the opening of the season.
