Outdoor Retailer, the premier trade event and community gathering for the outdoor industry, today named Lisa Ramsperger public relations manager, effective immediately. Ramsperger brings nearly twenty years of public relations experience in a wide range of sports and events, working with iconic brands and teams, including the Houston Astros, U.S. Olympic Committee, Volvo Ocean Race, America’s Cup, and Amgen Tour of California.
“Lisa’s passion for outdoor activities since childhood and her well-rounded communications experience make her a natural fit for Outdoor Retailer,” said Marisa Nicholson, vice president and show director for all Outdoor Retailer events. “As we ramp up for Outdoor Retailer Summer Market, she will be a strong asset to our team, especially as we head into our first summer in Denver. We are thrilled to have her join our group.”
In this role, Ramsperger will guide communications across the three-show cycle – Outdoor Retailer Snow Show, Outdoor Retailer Summer Market and Outdoor Retailer Winter Market – engaging with media, brands and retailers in Denver and throughout the year. In addition, she will work closely with CGPR on media relations efforts and other initiatives.

I grew up in a national forest – an amazing playground – and have continued to spend free time hiking, camping, skiing and enjoying other outdoor activities,” said Ramsperger. “Outdoor Retailer is a perfect opportunity to combine my skills and interests, and I am excited join a great team.”
