Nordic Spirit Festival In Pillerseetal - The Great Two-Day Cross-Country Skiing Opening In PillerseeTal!

At the beginning of the cross-country skiing season, the Nordic Spirit Festival attracts visitors to the Pillerseetal with free training sessions, equipment tests and lots of good vibes. On December 17th, winter sports enthusiasts meet in St. Ulrich am Pillersee, on December 18th in Hochfilzen, and set off on the cross-country ski trail together with the guides from the “Tyrolean Cross-Country School SINUS Georg Worter” and the “Nordic Academy”. While cracks hone their technique, newcomers dare their first attempts on the boards. Those who still have stamina can try the combination of cross-country skiing and shooting at the “ Biathlon for Everyone ” on Sunday. For the right equipment, the companies Fischer (Saturday and Sunday) and Madshus (Sunday) are on site and invite you to a free test . The cross-country skiing weekend will be musically accompanied by a laid-back DJ sound . By the way: During the festival, the approx. 100 kilometers of cross-country trails in Pillerseetal can be used free of charge.

Simply register online at www.pillerseetal.at and start running. The regular day ticket, which can be purchased via QR code since this season, costs six euros.

PillerseeTal - the Nordic stronghold in the Kitzbühel Alps

In recent years, the PillerseeTal has developed into a real Nordic center in Tyrol, in addition to its alpine roots. Cross-country skiers will find more than 100 kilometers of trails in both classic and skating technique , professional service facilities, cross-country ski schools, rental shops and shops on site. Due to the special snow guarantee in the snowiest region of Tyrol , the cross-country ski runs are in operation from December to March. NEW: The cross-country ski run underpass in Ortisei a. P., thanks to which the route to the Schwendt cross-country skiing stadium can be used on skis.

Information about the region : Five towns and 10,000 inhabitants - that's the Pillerseetal, which extends at the eastern end of the Kitzbühel Alps. Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen, St. Jakob in Haus, St. Ulrich am Pillersee and Waidring combine a traditional feel-good atmosphere with a wide range of experiences. A perfect combination for winter vacationers, true to the motto: Clear the stage for memories that last.

Prices: Trail tickets with guest card: day ticket €6, 3-day ticket €13, week ticket €26, the trail tickets are valid throughout the PillerseeTal.

Arrive car-free and enjoy advantages : Those who come to Pillerseetal by train not only have three train stations to choose from (Fieberbrunn, Pfaffenschwendt, Hochfilzen), but are also taken to the hotel, holiday apartment or guesthouse and back free of charge by shuttle service. The guest card is also automatically valid as a ticket for all regional buses and local trains between Hochfilzen and Wörgl (Kirchbichl).
