New VIP SKI Hotel In St. Christoph

Specialist ski company VIP SKI will throw open the doors to their new slope side property in December 2019 - Hotel Arlberg. The style is rustic Tyrolean at its very best, the appealing interior drips authentic alpine charm.

VIP SKI turns 30 this year and VIP SKI believed it was time to go back to the very cradle of downhill skiing, where it all began. Andy Sturt, Owner and Managing Director, says; “VIP SKI has become fussy with age. We want serious altitude, perhaps a small boutique hotel with say twenty bedrooms, we want to wrap ourselves in the very best of luscious Tyrolean décor, we wanted to be on the piste, next to the lifts and …. I guess it would have been nice to be right next to the ski school as well. Nailed it ….”

VIP SKI guests will enjoy sole exclusive use of the entire Arlberg hotel and piste side terrace where the chef offers a flexible menu plan with choice of dishes for evening dining. The eighteen spacious bedrooms and three suites are spread over three floors, all en-suite and equipped with TV, WIFI, hairdryer, telephone and safe. Most with balcony provide spectacular views of the ski area and surrounding peaks.

As one of VIP SKI’s dedicated family properties, infants and children are welcome in the hotel all season long. Private nannies are also on hand to help make a family holiday more enjoyable and can help with the children’s needs. It’s so close to ski school that guests can watch the kids ski away to ski school.

VIP SKI has hit the jackpot with this newest edition to their property portfolio. Short airport transfer, seven nights catering, spacious double rooms and family suites. A serene bolthole to kick off ski boots on the terrace and cuddle under a blanket to enjoy an après ski drink or party at the Mooserwirt and Krazy Kangaroo just a lift and piste away or an eight-minute taxi for those that needed just one more Jägerbomb and be back in time for dinner with the VIP SKI service. And at the end of the day head to the sauna to ease away the aches of a hard day skiing.

VIP SKI’s Hotel Arlberg is found at the very epicentre of Austria’s world class Arlberg ski region. Situated next to the St. Christophbahn ski lift at 1,800 meters whisking skiers straight to the Galzig mountain, at the bottom of Piste 64, or ski route 66 for the more adventurous, adjacent and overlooking the ski school and beginners’ lifts. Most importantly for the gourmets the hotel is next to the infamous Hospiz Alm for the ultimate Tyrolean lunchtime experience and the best ribs in the Alps.

St. Christoph offers a peaceful mountain retreat for those who are seeking fantastic skiing without the hustle and bustle with ski-in/ski-out accessibility. One of the resorts’ key attractions is queue free lifts in the morning and a crowd-free home piste with good snow at the end of the day. Boasting a total of 305 kms of downhill skiing as well as 87 lifts and cableways in one of the most varied ski regions of the world where snow is virtually guaranteed (on average seven metres of snowfall each winter).

Small but perfectly formed, the pretty resort of St Christoph has a certain fairy-tale charm that draws the faithful back year after year. With its easy connections to the rest of the Arlberg, it is the best placed of the resorts within the bigger and more well-known St Anton circuit and an ideal home for VIP SKI’s piste-side hotel.
