Mt. Hood Meadows Invests In Two New Pisten Bully Snowcats

Meadows commitment to snow grooming continues with the purchase of two PB 400 Park Pros. The cats add to an already impressive fleet of grooming equipment used for general trail grooming and to enhance the resort’s top rated terrain parks.
Meadows Director of Fleet Operations Jeremy Evans is excited about the new equipment, saying, “These Park Pros will be used for general slope grooming as well as for designing and maintaining the features in our top 10 rated terrain parks. We have very talented groomers and park builders and it excites us to provide this kind of equipment and technology for them to excel in their work. Our commitment to equipping them with the tools and training they need will ultimately provide an improved experience for our guests when it comes to grooming.”
"The Park Pro 400 is the best all-around tool for our mountain, both in the parks and on the slopes.  These cats have increased comforts for the operator, and a lot of travel for the blade and tiller. This will allow our top notch grooming team to produce higher quality shapes in the parks,  smooth flowing corduroy on the slopes and continue to enhance our overall grooming offering," Evan's explains.
In the last three seasons Meadows has invested more than $2 million in new grooming equipment, over and above their efforts to acquire and maintain snow harvesting equipment.
