Longest NY Ski Season Ever Finally Ends

The 2017-18 Ski Season concluded on Saturday with Whiteface Mountain's 155 ski days this past season. The season started with Bristol Mountain being the first ski area to open in the State on November 11, 2017 with a huge snowmaking effort and wrapped up Saturday May 5th with Whiteface Mountain. They were open Saturday with top-to-bottom skiing on 9 trails and 2 lifts.

Ski areas are already starting to get ready for next season with big improvements planned such as Hunter Mountain's new trails and more! Also great summer festivals and events are planned too and we'll have a round up of those soon on our website. The skiing may have stopped but the fun continues year round at a ski area near you!
