Joint Conference ISSS 2021 Gets Go Ahead

The 24th International Congress on Snow Sports Trauma and Safety and the 37th Congress of the International Society for Snowsports Medicine have been confirmed as running. In a statment the organisers say:

Because of the worldwide pandemic, it has been a time of many challenges and significant changes. Many of our friends have either cancelled, postponed until 2021 (or later), or changed to online-only their conferences. 

In this context, we are very pleased to let you know that the 24th International Congress on Snow Sports Trauma and Safety and the 37th Congress of the International Society for Snowsports Medicine are jointly scheduled to take place on 21st to 27th of March 2021 in Serre-Chevalier Vallée, France, in their standard format.

Hence the online submission process is now open and communication proposals have to be sent to abstract(@)isss2021.com. Please find template file. The submissions are due for January 10th 2021. We hope to receive your contributions and will be happy to see you in Serre-Chevalier, France, on March 21st.

Together with the conference, from 17th to 21th of March, we plan to organize a Winterschool aiming at providing reference lectures and practical sessions on snow sport trauma, health and safety. Epidemiology, movement sciences, physical training, biomechanical and material modeling will be the main topics dealt with during this four-day Winterschool.

If you or your students are interested in participating at this Winterschool, please let us know before 20th December 2020.

Because of the pandemic situation, there will be no financial obligation until January 2021.
