The new 12er NORD building planned for 2024 promises an absolute improvement in comfort. The existing cable car with standing gondolas from 1989 will be replaced by a 10-person monocable gondola - identical in construction to the 12-person KOGEL cable car.
The valley station is moving into the valley and a new ski bridge over the state road ensures comfortable and safe access directly to the two stations of the Hochalmbahn and 12er NORD.
Things go up quickly with a capacity of 2,600 people per hour. Once you get to the top you have to make a difficult decision - continue on the Skicircus circuit or swing straight back down the 12er north run into the valley.
