UNHCR is the United Nations Refugee Agency. It is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees who have been forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.

Hestra, a Swedish company, has been family-owned and dedicated solely to glove making since 1936. The company produces more than two million pairs of gloves annually and owns four of its own factories.

“This year has been very difficult for many people – especially those fleeing their countries seeking safety and opportunity”, says Dino Dardano, president of Hestra USA. “We are fortunate to be able to meet a physical need for the refugee children that face winter conditions in camps around the world and we encourage others to support this cause as well.”

In addition to a glove donation, Hestra has partnered with UNHCR to start a fundraiser. Donations can be made via this link: https://min.sverigeforunhcr.se/en/fundraisers/imagine-no-children-crying-for-warmth.
