Gemdale Sports Launches Zhangjiakou 2021 Marketing Programme

The Gemdale Sports Marketing Programme launch for the FIS Freestyle Ski, Freeski & Snowboard World Championships 2021 in Zhangjiakou (CHN) was held online on May 18th. 

Gemdale is one of the earliest real estate companies in China and also has a rich history in sports participation having played an important role in promoting tennis in China over the years. As the exclusive global commercial partner for the FIS World Championships 2021, its subsidiary Gemdale Sports will act as an important bridge to connect brands and enterprises with this event as well as snow sports in China.

The launch was attended by the Deputy Director of the Winter Sports Administrative Centre of the General Administration of Sport of China, Steve Yang Dong, Guo Ying, Secretary General of the 2021 World Championships Organising Committee, FIS Secretary General Sarah Lewis, Chief Executive Officer of Gemdale Sports Eddy Liu and Gemdale’s Chief Commercial Officer Marcus Kam.

A Three-Tier Sponsorship Structure 

Gemdale Sports COO Marcus Kam introduced the sponsorship structure and key benefits and rights of each tier to interested commercial partners. 

The sponsorship structure will consist of three tiers: One Title Sponsorship package which includes majority benefits in four key competition disciplines, followed by four Main Sponsorship packages, each featuring majority benefits in a competition discipline, and a further tier with one official data partner and one official timing partner, which include on-screen credits during broadcast. 
 

Guo Yin, Secretary General of the Zhangjiakou 2021 Organising Committee invited enterprises to seize this historic opportunity and partner with the Zhangjiakou 2021 FIS World Championships, “I sincerely wish that all enterprises will actively participate and help deliver a successful Zhangjiakou 2021 World Championships together with us. First FIS World Championships in China with significant opportunities for enterprises

The Zhangjiakou 2021, FIS Freestyle Ski, Freeski & Snowboard World Championships will take place from 18th to 28th February 2021, at two of the official competition venues of the 2022 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games: Genting Secret Garden at Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City, of Hebei Province and Shougang Industrial Park in Beijing. It serves as the official test event in both disciplines for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games. It is expected that more than 300 media and broadcasters from over 20 countries will descend upon Zhangjiakou to cover the event globally.
