"Ennstal Classic" Attracts International Stars & Legendary Vehicles To Schladming-Dachstein

Starting Wednesday (July 16th), the Styrian holiday region of Schladming-Dachstein will once again be the stage for the "Ennstal Classic," one of the most important classic car events in Europe. The 33rd edition of this renowned classic once again brings together a top-class international field of entrants. Over 100,000 enthusiasts are expected along the race track. The driver field traditionally features numerous prominent names, including motocross rider Matthias Walkner, DTM star Thomas Preining, former Formula 1 driver David Brabham, and motorsport legend Hans-Joachim "Strietzel" Stuck.

For more than three decades, the Ennstal Classic has established itself as the shining highlight of the motorsport summer, transforming the automotive heritage into a special experience. From humble beginnings with 35 vehicles in 1993, a legendary event has developed, synonymous with competitive spirit, enthusiasm, and automotive legends. The entire region is transformed into a magnificent backdrop for Europe's most prestigious classic car event – from Ramsau am Dachstein to Pürgg. "The Ennstal Classic is far more than just a motorsport event for our region," emphasizes Mathias Schattleitner, Managing Director of the Schladming-Dachstein Tourism Region. "With an advertising value of around €3 million and several thousand additional overnight stays spread across the entire region, the event represents enormous added value for tourism. It brings people from all over the world to experience our Alpine beauty and hospitality." Exciting special stages, breathtaking mountain routes, and quiet back roads

With fresh accents and traditional highlights, the route of the 2025 Ennstal-Classic is once again full of challenges, scenic beauty, and excitement. 50 exciting special stages, breathtaking mountain routes, and quiet back roads guarantee a diverse range of motorsport action. Saturday offers a special highlight: the famous Stoderzinken hillclimb and, as the crowning finale, the Porsche Design Grand Prix of Gröbming, which serves as a spectacular finale and crowd-puller. This year's supporting program will be further enhanced by the paddock in the Motorpark and the demonstration drive of the "Ferrari Classiche."

The Ennstal-Classic tests the capabilities of historic automobiles on today's roads with the usual demanding special stages that challenge both drivers and passengers.
