Faction Skis & Phaenom Footwear Named Official Ski & Boot Suppliers For Freeride World Tour In Landmark 3-year partnership

The FIS Freeride World Tour (FWT) today announces a groundbreaking three-year partnership with Faction Skis and Phaenom Footwear, naming the sister brands as official ski and boot suppliers for the world’s premier freeride competition series. This collaboration unites three pioneering forces in freeriding, bringing together elite competition with cutting-edge equipment innovation.
Founded in Verbier, Switzerland in 2006, Faction Skis shares its roots with that of the Freeride World Tour in Europe’s freeride capital. Faction has established itself as a creative powerhouse in the freeski industry, known for establishing its own space within ski design and storytelling. As part of Full Stack Supply Co., Faction is joined by Phaenom Footwear, the revolutionary boot brand that launched in 2023 with a mission to blend sustainable circularity with uncompromising freeskiing performance.
“This partnership represents a natural evolution for the Freeride World Tour” said Nicolas Hale-Woods, FWT Founder and CEO. “Faction and phaenom embody the same pioneering spirit and commitment to progression that defines our athletes and competition. Their deep roots in freeride culture, combined with their innovative approach to equipment design, make them ideal partners as we continue to elevate the sport.”
The partnership will see a number of FWT, FWT Challenger and FWT Qualifier athletes equipped with Faction’s award-winning freeride ski lineup and phaenom’s meticulously engineered boot systems throughout the competition season. Both brands bring a unique blend of Swiss precision, creative design, and athlete-driven innovation to the world’s most challenging big-mountain terrain. Faction’s position within the sport is reflected in the elite athletes who choose to ride its skis, including 2025 FWT runner-up and 2022 Freeride Junior World Champion Martin Bender (SUI), 2022 FWT Champion Elisabeth Gerritzen (SUI), and iconic Tour figures such as Andrew Pollard (USA) and Sam Anthamatten (SUI). Their trust highlights the brand’s strong and authentic presence in the freeride world.
“On the world’s most demanding faces, Tour athletes require unparalleled product performance" said Full Stack Supply Co. CEO, Alex Hoye. “Meanwhile, it’s personal - the format gets riders of every level fired up on freeskiing. Our brands thrive at this meeting point of inspiration, performance and connection, and we are thrilled to make our mark. This partnership with the Freeride World Tour is a perfect fit.”
Phaenom Footwear, known for its distinctive simple design language, focus on user-serviceability and recyclable materials, brings fresh thinking to boot design with its innovative hybrid cabrio/overlap construction and patent-pending strap system. The brand’s emphasis on performance, simplicity, and sustainability works to serve the evolving needs of the freeride community and the world it takes place in.
The three-year agreement begins with the 2025-26 season and solidifies Full Stack Supply Co.’s position as a major force in competitive freeriding.
