Club Med Announces Major North American Expansion with Club Med Tremblant

Club Med, the world leader in premium all-inclusive mountain and beach resorts, formally announced this week the development of Club Med Tremblant in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. The project marks a significant strategic expansion in North America, following the successful 2021 launch of its first Canadian resort, Club Med Québec Charlevoix.
Set to open in December 2028, Club Med Tremblant will be a ground-up project and the region's first premium all-inclusive resort, positioned to become the brand's new flagship ski destination in North America.
A Second Canadian Alpine Village
The new resort will be nestled in the heart of the Laurentians, one of North America's most iconic four-season destinations. Club Med Tremblant will offer a premium all-inclusive mountain experience inspired by a contemporary Alpine Chalet design, blending playful charm with a refined, warm, and inviting atmosphere.
"Canada continues to be a key market in our North American growth strategy," said Carolyne Doyon, CEO North America & Caribbean for Club Med. "With the upcoming opening of Club Med Tremblant, we are thrilled to introduce a new destination offering an original premium all-inclusive mountain experience."
The Mont-Tremblant destination, known for its vibrant alpine village and world-class slopes, aligns perfectly with Club Med's clientele, catering to families and active travelers seeking experience-rich getaways.
All-Inclusive Mountain Amenities
Guests at the new ski-in/ski-out resort will have daily lift tickets and ski lessons included as part of the premium all-inclusive package. Key amenities and experiences will feature:
- Ski-in and ski-out access with daily lift tickets included.
- Gourmet dining rooted in Alpine heritage with a local twist.
- Dedicated, age-specific Kids Clubs for children ranging from 4 months to 17 years old.
- A wide array of summer activities such as hiking and water sports, positioning it as a four-season destination.
- Immersive wellness experiences, including a world-class spa.
- Hospitality delivered by Club Med's signature multicultural team of GOs (Gentle Organizers).
- Key Partnerships and Sustainability Focus
The project is a collaboration between Club Med, French management company Alderan, and local partner Station Mont-Tremblant. A new partnership agreement with Station Mont-Tremblant formalized in November 2025 will give guests direct access to highly skilled ski instructors and tailored programs for all ages and skill levels. Station Mont-Tremblant has also committed to significant upgrades to the mountain's infrastructure in the coming years.
The development underscores a commitment to sustainable tourism, with Club Med Tremblant targeting LEED certification and Green Globe operational certification. This responsible approach aims to integrate the resort into the area’s natural and cultural environment.
The new resort is projected to be a major catalyst for regional economic growth, expected to create nearly 300 direct jobs and boost Mont-Tremblant's thriving tourism industry, which currently attracts over 3 million visitors annually.
