Bern Ski Areas: Around 36,000 Advance Top4 Ski Passes Sold

Around 36,000 Top4 ski passes were bought by winter sports enthusiasts in the advance booking period from November 1, 2021 to December 15, 2021. This means that the participating ski areas Adelboden-Lenk, Gstaad, Jungfrau Ski Region and Meiringen-Hasliberg can look forward to better advance sales than in the previous, challenging winter season.

During the pre-sale, the price of the Top4 adult ski pass was CHF 777. The prices for children and young people also remained unchanged compared to the previous year. After advance sales have ended, the Top4 ski pass for adults costs 1,100 francs. The prospect of open restaurants and terraces should have contributed to the good advance sales, as of course the snowfall in recent weeks. Compared to the pre-sale in 2020, which took longer, around 8,000 more Top4 ski passes were sold this year. 

Money back guarantee and protection concept

A Covid-19 money-back guarantee applies to all holders of a Top4 ski pass. In the event of a lockdown and the resulting closure of all top 4 ski areas between December 1, 2021 and April 3, 2022, a reimbursement will be made pro rata temporis. The refund will be made in cash.

With regard to Covid-19, the top 4 ski areas implement a protection concept that is based on the currently valid requirements of the federal government and the canton of Bern. The good experiences of the last winter season can be built on. Similar to the protection concept of public transport, a mask is required for railways, mountain railways and cable cars in closed means of transport, as well as in publicly accessible indoor areas. There is no mask requirement for chairlifts and ski lifts, when queuing outdoors, keep your distance.

If the official regulations for mountain railways and / or winter sports areas change, the Top4 areas will also implement them. There is no entitlement to a refund or exchange of sports passes.

Sports pass with added value 

Owners of the new sports pass can not only enjoy the slopes, but also receive a 33% discount on overnight stays from Sunday to Thursday in selected hotels in the four destinations, plus Interlaken and Kandersteg. With the Top4 ski pass you can use all lifts and cable cars in the four ski regions of Adelboden-Lenk (excluding Kandersteg and Jaunpass), Gstaad (excluding Glacier 3000), Jungfrau Ski Region and Meiringen-Hasliberg.
