Australian National Aerials Team For 2025/26 Announced

Snow Australia is proud to announce the 2025/26 Aerial Skiing National Team, showcasing a world-class group of Olympic medallists, World Cup titleholders, and emerging talent set to build on one of Australia’s strongest seasons in history.

Australia’s dominance in women’s Aerials continued last season, with Laura Peel producing a phenomenal campaign to secure her third Overall World Cup title, winning five of seven events.

Danielle Scottagain proved her status as one of the world’s best, finishing third overall, earning four World Cup podiums, and winning bronze at the World Championships, her fourth career Worlds medal.

Abbey Willcox delivered her best-ever season, finishing fifth overall with six top-10 results, including a podium at Deer Valley that contributed to a historic 1-2-3-4 Australian sweep alongside Peel, Scott and Airleigh Frigo.

Frigo also enjoyed a breakthrough year, recording her maiden World Cup podium and finishing 10th overall.

“I'm so excited to be representing Australia this upcoming winter season, it's a childhood dream come true and I feel very privileged to be able to have a career in winter sport,” Frigo said.

"The atmosphere is going to be exciting and intense leading up to the Milano Olympics. I think you can definitely expect big tricks and everyone leaving all they've got out on the snow in hopes to qualify.

"I'm so excited to have my whole family coming out to support me this season. They have never seen me jump on snow in real life so I can't wait to share this part of my world with them.”

Rising athletes Elise Coleiro and Sidney Stephens made their World Cup debuts and impressed on the Nor-Am circuit with a 1-2 finish at Utah Olympic Park.

On the men’s side, Reilly Flanagan made his World Cup debut in Lake Placid before joining Peel and Willcox to win bronze in the World Cup Team Event, marking a significant milestone early in his career.

With the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games approaching, the team enters the new season poised for another year of world-leading performances.
