33rd Tourism Forum Alpine Regions To be Held In Montafon From March 18th - 20th, 2024,

From March 18th - 20th, 2024, Montafon will be the focal point of the tourism industry at the 33rd Tourism Forum Alpine Regions. The “Muntafu” is more than just a mountain valley, but a tourism destination and living space at the same time – authentic, down-to-earth and future-oriented. The new Valisera Bahn is Austria's first autonomously operated gondola lift in the Montafon, and numerous initiatives and projects ensure the positive development of the valley.

The mountain and living environment in Montafon is incredibly diverse. With innovative ideas and effective projects, the people of Montafon preserve the beauty of their homeland and thus ensure a great attraction for guests from near and far. The numerous new hotel projects and excellent mountain railway infrastructure underline the potential and positive development in Vorarlberg's southernmost valley, where people are warmly addressed on a first-name basis.

The Silvretta Montafon has around 140 kilometers of slopes and 35 lifts, making it one of the largest ski areas in Austria. As a full-service provider, Silvretta Montafon is responsible for ski schools, mountain restaurants, Intersport shops and accommodation providers. With the new Valisera Bahn, it operates the first autonomously operated gondola lift in Austria, which is perfectly integrated into the brand new and multifunctional Silvretta Park Montafon building complex. The Silvretta Park Montafon boasts, among other things, the world's largest electric charging station in a ski area.

In addition to comprehensive habitat management, which is increasingly replacing previous marketing, and digitalization in mountain railways, other topics and best practice examples will also provide inspiration, discussion and lively exchange at the 33rd TFA Tourism Forum for Alpine Regions. The traditional outdoor forum tours provide exclusive and practice-oriented insights. The varied evening programs promise conviviality, networking and freshly prepared delicacies from the “Muntafu”.

The high-quality international specialist forum TFA continues to impress with its special and specifically selected speakers. Inspiration, including from outside the industry, allows you to think outside the box, and the presentations and panel discussions are complemented by an exciting and cheerful supporting program. It is an Alpine-wide successful concept for inspiration, content and networking in the Alpine destinations. No other specialist forum of this quality has established itself over three decades as a purely privately financed concept that is independent of associations and politics.
