Mammut & Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Celebrate 60 Years Of Alpine Excellence With Renewed Uniform Partnership

Mammut, a global leader in mountain safety and outdoor gear, announces the expansion of its long-standing partnership with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR). As JHMR celebrates its 60th anniversary as one of North America’s most iconic mountain destinations, the strengthened partnership underscores Mammut’s commitment to supporting elite mountain professionals with gear, training, and innovation rooted in the Swiss Alps and proven in the Tetons.
As Mammut’s first North American resort partner, JHMR established the foundation for a program that has expanded to more than 15 resorts - continuing to define what meaningful collaboration in the mountains looks like. Now entering its 8th year, the partnership reflects Mammut’s 160-year legacy of delivering best-in-class performance gear and safety equipment that keeps patrollers, guides, and operations teams protected on the mountain.
“Jackson Hole sets the bar for what a true mountain partnership can look like,” said Matt Kaplan, President & Managing Director of Mammut North America. “For years, we've worked together to test our products in their backyard, in the toughest conditions Jackson Hole can throw at us. We’ve built relationships with their mountain team and their community, and pushed each other to new heights. As they celebrate 60 years, we’re proud to continue to evolve our product and our partnership together, ensuring we keep the team at JHMR warm, safe and dry.”
Beginning this season, Mammut will outfit JHMR staff with its most advanced uniforms yet, including new MTN Pro designs and LoopInsulation hooded jackets built for warmth, mobility, and durability. The partnership also includes comprehensive avalanche safety support with Barryvox transceivers, airbags, and hands-on training to ensure teams are fully equipped to protect both guests and themselves in the backcountry.
Mammut is equally focused on supporting and engaging with the Jackson community. For the second year in a row, Mammut will sponsor the People’s Choice Award at one of North America’s most iconic freeride events, Kings & Queens of Corbet’s. Voted on by the live audience for their favorite run, the award highlights emerging talent in the ski space and is distinct for its peer-judged recognition. Also, this season, visitors and locals can see a one-of-a-kind artistic display celebrating the JHMR and Mammut partnership at JH Sports. Local artist Kia Tolan won the Design the Display Art Contest for her piece inspired by the theme “Built in the Alps. Proven in the Tetons.”
“Safety, performance, and community are at the heart of what we do,” said Ned Wonson, Vice President of Marketing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. “Mammut’s unwavering commitment to excellence makes them the perfect partner as we honor our legacy and continue to ignite the spirit of adventure in the mountains.”
