Summer At Snowbird Kicks Off , Exciting Resort Upgrades Take Shape
Snowbird is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its summer season. The resort will offer over 20 exhilarating activities for guests of all ages, including favorites like the Tram rooftop balconies, Mountain Coaster and Alpine Slide.
This summer marks the second season of Snowbird's Tram rooftop balconies—the only of their kind in the United States. This unique experience welcomes guests to experience Snowbird's two iconic Tram cabins via open-air balconies, providing an unparalleled 360-degree view of Snowbird, Little Cottonwood Canyon and the Wasatch Mountains.
“We are eager to welcome guests back to explore the mountains from a unique perspective, whether it’s from the exhilarating ZipWhipper or the Tram rooftop balconies—both of which are unique to Snowbird,” said Snowbird President and General Manager Dave Fields.
“As we look toward the coming months, we’re equally excited to unveil updates to Oktoberfest and to continue our work on exciting resort improvements for the upcoming winter.”
Guests looking to make the most of their day at Snowbird can purchase an All-Day Activity Pass, starting at $65 for those who are at least 42 inches tall. This pass provides access to favorites like Summer Scenic Tram Rides, the Mountain Coaster, Alpine Slide, ZipWhipper and more. The Tram Rooftop Balcony Add-On is also available for those who wish to experience the open-air ride.
For guests looking to extend their stay, Snowbird offers lodging specials, like Summer Dine & Stay, which includes overnight accommodations and a $125 dining credit per night of stay, allowing guests to enjoy the resort’s expansive culinary offerings. Those who stay at Snowbird can also utilize a 20% discount on All-Day Activity Passes and Summer Scenic Tram Rides with Snowbird & Save.
In addition to summer activities, Snowbird looks forward to further enhancing the guest experience as it works to complete ongoing capital improvement projects. The new Wilbere Chair, scheduled to open for the 2024-25 winter season, will offer improved access and convenience for skiers and snowboarders, while the new Mid-Gad Restaurant, anticipated to open in the 2025-26 winter season, will provide mid-mountain dining with stunning views.
Summer at Snowbird will also include the return of Oktoberfest, commencing on August 10, 2024. This year’s festival is set to feature exciting updates and additions that will be announced at a later date.
