Gaislachkogl - New Culinary Options In Falcon Restaurant

Recently an innovative gastronomic addition has been enriching the Sölden ski area: FALCON - culinary delights on the mountain, right at the middle station of the Gaislachkoglbahn. Two gastronomic concepts under one roof that know how to do justice to every taste: the market restaurant on the ground floor scores with uncomplicated self-service and the latest culinary trends. The service restaurant on the upper floor convinces with a regionally inspired kitchen including Austrian wines. Whether it's a short stop or a conscious deceleration - the panorama of the Ötztal mountains is right at the table in summer and winter thanks to the transparent architecture.

architecture and nature

In addition to the Sölden architectural icons ice Q, 007 ELEMENTS and the headquarters of the tourism association, the Tyrolean architect Johann Obermoser is also responsible for the design of the new FALCON restaurant. Both restaurants are directly connected to the excellent infrastructure in addition to access via the gondola lift. The use of large glass elements and natural materials ensures a warm feel-good atmosphere. A special treat: spacious, south-facing sun terraces invite you to relax. The name FALCON is appropriately derived from the all-round view and natural elegance of the eponymous falcon and its realm in the air and mountains.

Self-service with an innovative payment system

Fast, relaxed and uncomplicated: the market restaurant with its 300 indoor and 200 terrace seats welcomes you all year round for a comfortable rest. In addition to well-known classics, the market restaurant also offers world cuisine and vegetarian dishes. The show kitchen effectively stages the fresh preparation of the selected dishes. Thanks to the innovative payment system, the food is served at the perfect temperature and not a minute is wasted on the mountain: All food and drinks are conveniently booked on the ski ticket and only paid for when you leave the restaurant area.

Gaislachkogl by Night

The Gaislachkogl in Sölden is not only a mountain full of experiences when the sun is shining, but also in the evening hours. Every Wednesday evening, between 1,363 and 3,040 meters above sea level, night turns into day. The 4 km long, freshly groomed descent into the valley and the 7 km long toboggan run ensure sporting experiences. The action-packed world of James Bond opens up in 007 ELEMENTS at over 3,000 meters above sea level. Just a stone's throw away, one of the world's highest gourmet restaurants, the ice Q, invites you to a 5-course summit dinner. Culinary delights await the guests in the new FALCON á la carte restaurant at the Gaislachkogl middle station. An exclusive 4-course sharing dinner and magnificent views of the mountains in the evening form the crowning glory of night skiing or tobogganing.
