ZipFit Introduces Their First Fully Customizable Ski Touring Liner - The GFT

ZipFit manufacturer of durable and comfortable ski boot liners introduces the first fully customizable liner designed for ski touring.

Designed alongside the most renowned mountain guides and uphill athletes, the GFT is exactly what we’ve been waiting for. Whether you’re skiing the Grand F’in Teton or lapping your local low angle meadows, the GFT touring liners keep your foot in place on the uphill and allow for a range of motion that reflects modern touring boot design — all without compromising our design of the custom cork pouches that provide premium heel hold, foot positioning, and performance on the ski down.

As ZipFit is based in Aspen, Colorado, they want to support the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (CAIC) in their efforts to provide Colorado backcountry users with information regarding snow conditions and avalanche safety. ZipFit is proud to partner with Friends of CAIC in launching their first liner with a dedicated backcountry purpose. Friends of CAIC provides funding to support CAIC’s backcountry forecasting operations in an effort to keep our ski touring community informed about safe backcountry decision making, including what terrain to avoid each day. 5% of each pre-order sale will be donated to Friends of CAIC.

The GFT interior is stitched with comfortable neoprene that effectively controls sweat and is easy to slide on or slip off. Like all ZipFit ski boot liners, the GFT liners have a neoprene toe box insulated with Thinsulate and merino wool, helping your feet thermoregulate during frigid pre-dawn starts or high output spring missions in the sun.

The GFT touring liners are pre-packed with OMFit self-molding cork composite, specifically designed for performance touring boots, hybrid AT boots, and telemark ski boots. Skiers can always add more OMFit cork to the tongue or ankle pockets to dial in their perfect fit. Skiers who prioritize performance on the descent have been touring in ZipFits for decades. Now they offer a liner that performs on the descent but is also Great For Touring. Or is it Great For Telemark? Either way, get out there and have a GFT!

The GFT is now available for pre-order and the liners will ship in December. Treat your feet and support a great organization while you’re at it!
