“We are excited to welcome summer and provide our guests with mountain experiences for all ages and interests.  Our family-friendly amenities offer many ways for all ages to play on the mountain.  Coupled with affordable lodging and exceptional service they bring our guests back year after year,” said Whitefish Mountain Resort CEO Dan Graves.  “Part of last winter’s success was certainly due to the loyalty of our passholders who helped set a new record for vertical feet skied as well as helping us set a new skier visit record. We want to welcome our passholders back to the mountain for some summer fun by offering half off summer activities for the first three weekends.”

New for summer 2019, Whitefish Mountain Resort will add a second Alpine Slide and redesign the original slide. Work is currently underway for the $675,000 project to engineer, design and build two new slide paths as well as purchase additional sleds. The new alpine slides, to be named Meadow and Forest for the type of terrain the slides meander through, will provide two distinct experiences to summer guests. Both will begin in the Lift Plaza and finish adjacent to the Base Lodge. Chair 6 will be used to transport guests and sleds from the bottom of both slides to the top of the hill where both slides will begin. There is no extra charge for riding the lift. One slide is projected to open June 15 with the second slide’s target opening date set for July 1.
