Telluride's Auberge Madeline Hotel Ready For Winter

Telluride’s premiere alpine resort, Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection, which unveiled a dramatic property-wide reimagination this past summer, is rolling out new immersive winter experiences as well as activations for the upcoming holiday season and beyond.

A refreshed palette of earthen hues and artful details inspired by the texture and topography of the surrounding Colorado landscape infuse a renewed contemporary elegance to the property, invoking a luxurious and welcoming year-round mountain environment, and offering a chic yet approachable respite from Telluride’s active outdoor lifestyle. Curated by our team of Adventure Guides, with over 60 years of combined Telluride residency, create personalized itineraries with insider access to an endless array of one-of-a-kind experiences set against the breathtaking backdrop of the San Juan Mountains. From skiing the legendary runs to ice climbing, heli-skiing, snowshoeing, winter fly fishing, and horseback riding through pristine snow drifts.

Week of Festivities at Madeline:

  • Candle Making: Celebrate the longest and darkest of winter nights by creating a light to share with those you hold most dear. Making hand rolled beeswax candles is a family friendly activity for all ages. (Wednesday, December 22 @ Madeline’s lobby from 4:00-6:00 pm) 
  • Games on the Ice: Red and Green are more than just holiday colors this season! Red Light, Green Light takes on a new challenge on the ice this winter season. Join the Madeline team to play classic games with a frosty twist. (Thursday, December 23 @ Reflection Plaza from 3:00-4:00 pm) 
  • Sounds from the Trees: Revel in an evening of holiday melodies and soulful sounds. Listen to your festive favorites while sipping on one of our craft cocktails, like the New Fashioned, and feasting on one of our signature dishes, like the 20z Rocky Mountain Elk Loin. (Thursday, December 23 @ Timber Room from 6:00-8:30 pm) 
  • Stores and S’mores: Savor the holiday spirit this Christmas Eve with some fireside storytelling. Travel the world through the power of prose and learn how different cultures celebrate the shortest days of the year. (Friday, December 24 @ Alpine Swim Club from 5:00-5:30 pm) 
  • Christmas Fests: This festive season, gather with loved ones over a special Christmas Eve or Christmas Day feast to remember featuring Executive Chef Bill Greenwood’s elevated takes on the classics inspired by the incredible bounty of the Western Slope. (Available Christmas Eve + Christmas Day in Black Iron Kitchen & Bar from 5:00-9:00 pm - $125 per guest, $60 per child)
