Sweet Protection, designers of cutting-edge snow, bike, and paddle sports helmets is honored to win the 2019 Backcountry Magazine Editors’ Choice Award. This product award is one of the most prestigious in the core winter industry, given annually in recognition of outstanding innovation in design, materials, and performance.
Backcountry Magazine Editor-In-Chief Tyler Cohen and his staff of editors and testers spent endless days testing and reviewing helmets from multiple brands. After countless ski runs, ass over teakettle falls, and numerous hikes the Sweet Protection Switcher helmet won Editors’ Choice.
The Backcountry Magazine Editors’ Choice Award, bestowed annually, honors the products that editors have chosen as the best of the year based on months of winter ski testing by teams of highly experienced skiers.
Sweet Protection North America officially launched its line of winter helmets in winter 2015. Despite its infancy in the US, Sweet Protection – helmet makers since the late 90’s - pulls upon a rich history among the ranks of the Scandinavian outdoor community and continues to see a global increase in the demand for its best in class, high-performance designs.
