St Moritz Ready For Summer

To add to the awesome beauty of summer in the mountains, visitors can look forward to numerous events and experiences, both traditional and novel, which they can enjoy throughout an extended summer and autumn season. True to the Italian motto of “La vita è bella”, St. Moritz will be celebrating carefree moments on the shores of the nearby lakes, transformed into a mountain riviera with bars, sun loungers and, of course, gelati.

109 THINGS TO DO
A list of “109 Things to Do in St. Moritz” has recently been compiled and is now published on stmoritz.com. It provides visitors and locals with an overview of the wide variety of offers available in St. Moritz throughout the year. For example, you’ll be able to hire St. Moritz pedaloes – this year is the first time a pedalo has ever been on Lake St. Moritz! Or why not team up with the former Italian professional cyclist Fabio Aru to check out the most spectacular routes and trails for gravel bikes, mountain bikes and road bikes.

A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES
Museum Night is on 8 July 2022 this year, featuring an exclusive guided tour of a number of exhibitions. How about a 20-minute helicopter flight to get a bird's eye view of St. Moritz? And capture some stunning holiday memories on a private photoshoot with a professional photographer in and around the town. The list also reveals which regional and seasonal specialities can be found in the local restaurants, cafés and bars.

A THRILLING CALENDAR OF EVENTS
The calendar of events features traditional attractions such as the British Classic Car Meeting (8 to 10 July 2022), the Festival da Jazz (7 to 31 July 2022), the Summer Polo Cup (20 to 24 July 2022), Engadinwind (19 to 28 August 2022), the St. Moritz Running Festival (19 to 21 August 2022) and the International St. Moritz Automobile Weeks (2 to 11 September 2022) – but it also contains a variety of new additions. For example, the St. Moritz Reithalle regularly hosts concerts during the summer months, including performances as part of the Festival da Jazz (7 to 31 July 2022) and the Origen Festival Cultural. The first instalment of the St. Moritz Art Film Festival (SMAFF) from 26 to 28 August 2022 is dedicated to film, art and audiovisual media at regional, national and international levels.
