South Wilts Ski Club Luanches Summer Athlete Training Offer

South Wilts Ski Club is opening its doors to athletes looking to maintain their ski training through the off-season. Our SkyTechSport Ski Simulator and Infinity Slope - the same technology used by members of the British, Canadian, and USA Alpine Ski Teams - are now available at discounted rates to support committed skiers and clubs this summer.

Nick Jenkins, Director of the South Wilts Ski Club says: “We’re the only facility open to the public that offers both a SkyTech simulator and a Maxx Tracks slope. It’s a unique combination, and we’re seeing elite athletes travel from across the country to train on both. We’re hopeful this will lead to a new wave of top-level talent emerging from the South West.”

George Brown, British Alpine Ski Team says: “The facilities here are incredible — you can really target the specific muscle groups and technical areas that matter for skiing. There’s no wasted time on lifts, you just get straight to it. The environment is welcoming, the clubhouse is amazing, and the whole place has such a positive vibe. Training here gives you a real edge — you can work on your weaknesses, refine your technique, and build ski-specific strength without guessing what to do in the gym.”

The offer runs to the 30th September 2025 with exclusive athlete use on Mondays and Tuesdays. Other weekdays are available on request and dependent on availability. Athletes can bring their own boots, poles and helmets but skis will need to be supplied by SWSC.
