Snowsports Industries America (SIA) To Launch Comprehensive Compliance Toolkits On July 31

Snowsports Industries America (SIA) today announced the upcoming launch of a robust new set of compliance resources,, to help brands and businesses stay ahead of the fast-evolving regulatory environment. The initiative kicks off July 31 with the release of the first in a series of four specialized compliance toolkits, created in partnership with Snaplinc Consulting.
Each toolkit offers straightforward, step-by-step guidance for tackling today’s most pressing compliance topics – paired with practical checklists, clear policy explanations, and direct access to “office hours” hosted by Snaplinc’s compliance experts. The goal: to make compliance easier to understand, easier to act on, and easier to manage, no matter the stage of compliance readiness.
“These toolkits are an example of the added value we’re committed to delivering for our members,” said Nick Sargent, president of SIA. “We know how complex the compliance landscape has become, and we want our members to feel supported, informed, and prepared. These new resources – combined with our ongoing Compliance Alliance webinar series – reflect our dedication to helping the winter outdoor industry thrive.”
The first toolkit, launching July 31, focuses on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), offering essential planning guidance ahead of key state deadlines. The series continues in September with the Traceability & Prohibited Goods Toolkit, which helps safeguard supply chains in light of new enforcement trends. October’s Forced Labor Toolkit provides clarity around global due diligence and labor reporting laws, and the series concludes in December with the EU ESPR & Digital Product Passport Toolkit, a crucial resource for understanding sweeping European regulations that may impact product design and market access.
These toolkits build on the success of SIA’s Compliance Alliance, an expert-led monthly webinar series that launched in 2024. This year’s programming includes timely sessions on topics such as upcoming EPR rules, global tariff changes, PFAS bans, California’s Textile EPR law, and major EU regulations poised to reshape U.S. business practices.
With this new suite of tools, SIA members gain not just critical knowledge, but also year-round access to expertise that can shape smarter decisions and stronger operations. It’s one more way SIA is helping the industry move forward with confidence.
