Snowbird Reveals 50th Anniversary Season Pass Options

Snowbird, home to Utah’s only alpine Aerial Tram has announced that 2021-22 passes for its 50th anniversary season will be available starting April 15, 2021, and come with a host of perks, including free 2021 spring ski and ride access. Skiers and riders can celebrate Snowbird’s 50 years for as low as $50 down while also enjoying new benefits.

“With our 50th Anniversary on the horizon, we are excited to usher in the 2021-22 season with a renewed sense of excitement,” said Dave Fields, Snowbird president and general manager. “With a new hybrid parking approach to ensure a great experience every day of the season, a $50-down Season Pass Payment Plan and more passholder benefits, there’s never been a better time to be a part of the Snowbird family.”

The Summit and Alta-Bird passes will return for the 2021-22 season, both with a new benefit option to add on a limited Ikon Bass Pass for just $269 before December 1, 2021. Each of these passes are eligible for a payment plan with just $50 down and come with Early Bird Benefits, such as a free night’s stay at The Cliff Lodge this summer, when purchased before June 10, 2021. Additional perks include Wasatch Benefits and special passholder discounts across the resort.

The Summit Pass gives skiers and snowboarders unlimited access to Snowbird this spring through the entire 2021-22 winter season, starting at $1,049 plus tax. For those looking to ski all that Little Cottonwood Canyon resorts have to offer, the Alta-Bird Pass will be available for $1,499 plus tax, providing unlimited access to both Snowbird and Alta.

New this season, Snowbird is introducing the Flex-4 Tix, a product that provides one person with any four days of skiing and riding the mountain with zero blackout dates for $349 plus tax. Additionally, the Ten-2-Share Pass will be available for $699 plus tax, giving guests 10 transferrable days valid for the entire 2021-22 winter season with zero blackout dates.

All season pass options are covered by Snowbird’s 2021-22 COVID-19 Passholder Promise. This free assurance gives passholders the flexibility to defer and receive a full credit of their purchase price to be used toward a 2022-23 Snowbird pass of equal or greater value by September 30, 2021. The 2021-22 Passholder Promise also provides in-season COVID-19 coverage on pass purchases if the resort closes for 21 days or more or seven consecutive days because of COVID-19.

Parking

For the 2021-22 winter season, Snowbird will offer a variety of ways to park and enjoy the mountain, including the ability to pay for reserved daily parking in advance, purchase a Preferred Parking Pass, or park in free lots on a first-come, first serve basis. This hybrid approach allows Snowbird guests who enjoyed the security of having a spot in advance to continue to do so, while returning most areas to a free, open system. As local guidelines allow, Snowbird will renew its focus on encouraging and celebrating carpooling with expanded carpool parking areas. 2021-22 Preferred Parking Passes will be available in limited quantities for $699 plus tax.
