Snow Australia Announces 2025/26 Park & Pipe National Team

Snow Australia is proud to unveil the Park and Pipe National Team for the 2025/26 season, headlined by a powerhouse mix of Olympic medalists, world champions and next-generation talent building ahead of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

Four-time Snowboard Halfpipe World Champion Scotty James returns following another dominant campaign in the 2024/25 season, where he defended his X Games SuperPipe crown for a fourth straight year and captured his fourth world title, a first for any snowboard halfpipe athlete globally. Scotty also claimed a World Cup victory in Laax and finished fourth overall despite a shortened season.

Joining Scotty is Beijing bronze medallist Tess Coady, who showed she remains a major medal contender with a fourth and six place World Cup finishes in her comeback from injury, and dual-discipline force Valentino Guseli, who returns to competition after an early-season injury last year paused his 2024/25 campaign.

On the freeski side, breakout star Daisy Thomas earns her second national team selection after an impressive first full World Cup season. The youth Olympic silver medallist recorded multiple top-10 World Cup results and made her World Championships debut.

“It’s a wonderful feeling to be a part of the Park and Pipe team with some of my best friends and to be competing on the World Cup circuit for my second year,” Daisy said.

“I’ve put in a lot of hard work independently over the past year so this is just the tip of the iceberg!

“Having the Olympics around the corner means that we expect many more competitors for the season but these World Cups also transform into a practice opportunity for my tricks for the Olympics.

“I’m most excited to be working with my coach for the full season this year and just be able to show the world my level and ability. I am also super excited to hopefully compete at the Olympic Games with some of my closest friends and embrace the opportunity to push myself as far as I can go,” she said.

Also stepping into the freeski national lineup is Abi Harrigan, fresh off a career-best 2024/25 season that included her first World Cup podium and a top-10 world ranking in slopestyle.

Snow Australia’s Development Team continues to be strong, with rising stars includingIndra Brown, who swept Nor-Am podiums across three disciplines, Ally Hickman, the 2024/25 Australia New Zealand Cup Park & Pipe champion, and emerging talents Mela Stalker, Amelie Haskell, Joey Elliss, Aidan Laing and more.

Snow Australia congratulates all selected athletes and looks forward to following their performances on the international stage.
