Elevating on-snow experiences to a wider audience, the Imprint 3D Collection addresses the vast range of face shapes and features, eliminates the one-size fits all approach to gear, and offers multiple style and budget options.

Beloved by pro athletes and entrants alike, the best-selling Squad and Squad XL goggles feature a semi-frameless design and an understated, freeride style. With the introduction of the two models into the Imprint 3D Collection, the curve of the lens and frame front, along with the face flange, can be individualized according to the contour of a rider’s face for the very first time. The result is an improved riding experience with increased all-day comfort and an expanded field of view without altering the frame design language or lens profile.

The Smith I/O MAG Imprint 3D goggle was the first custom goggle built to the individualized features of a person’s face, originally launched in November 2021, and quickly became a leading innovation across Smith’s goggle offerings. Joining the I/O MAG Imprint goggle, the new Squad and Squad XL Imprint options include a choice of two lenses featuring Smith’s proprietary ChromaPop branded lens technology uniquely tuned for visibility and clarity beyond normal capabilities by amplifying natural color and enhancing definition. Three Imprint 3D exclusive strap choices give the user a final level of personalization.

Utilizing Smith’s custom app, users scan their face to capture their unique details and contours. Through Smith’s patent-pending Imprint 3D Technology, an individualized frame is automatically generated with a face flange tailored to the exact surfaces of the user’s face. The customized frame is 3D printed, using HP’s industrial Multi Jet Fusion platform, then hand assembled in Smith’s USA-based production facility and delivered within 14 days.
