Simone Braun Becomes Chief Hospitality Officer (CHO) & Member Of Management Board At Sportbahnen Braunwald

With the newly created CHO position, Sportbahnen Braunwald AG is strengthening the importance of gastronomy and the hotel industry on the mountain. On June 1, 2023, Simone Braun, a proven hostess with many years of experience in gastronomy, the hotel industry and tourism, will move to Braunwald. With her experience and know-how, the native of Braunwald strengthens the new strategy and thus the competencies of the entire company in the field of hospitality.

The Board of Directors of Sportbahnen Braunwald AG (SBAG) has unanimously appointed Simone Braun as the new CHO. The 43-year-old, who lives with her partner in Glarus, is currently responsible for the event and group business at the lintharena.

After graduating from high school in Glarus and completing a pedagogical training, Simi Braun decided wholeheartedly to work in the hospitality sector. After experience in well-known hotels such as the Victoria Jungfrau in Interlaken or the Grand Hotel Bellevue in Gstaad, she attended the Hotel Management School in Zurich and successfully graduated in 2008 with a diploma.
