Four routes - one goal: at the 10th Silvrettarun 3000 on July 16, 2022, experienced amateur athletes and marathon runners will run from Ischgl to Galtür. Mountain running professionals can try their hand at the “marathon on a three-thousand-meter peak”, the “hard” distance with 42.195 kilometers over 1,814 meters in altitude on the almost 3,000 meter high Kronenjoch. If that's too demanding for you, you can start on one of the three varied, shorter trail running distances. At the finish line, the fastest athletes can look forward to total prize money of 14,000 euros, which will also be distributed equally between men and women in the anniversary year. In addition, every participant runs for a good cause, because five euros of the entry fee go to the charity partner "Wings for Life". In addition to the individual ratings over the four distances, there are team and group ratings. The race is part of the "Austrian Mountain Running Cup 2022". Savings tip: If you register by December 31, 2021, you will pay a reduced entry fee of 29 instead of 59 euros for the “Small” and “Light” routes and 31 instead of 61 euros for the “Medium” and “Hard” routes. “Our idea of combining two small runs in Ischgl and Galtür for the Silvrettarun 3000 ten years ago in order to offer the participants not only a mountain marathon at almost 3000 meters but also wonderful views of the blue Silvretta with its 74 three-thousand-meter peaks more than just worked . “, Says OK boss Josef Kurz happily on the occasion of the 10th anniversary. "The steadily increasing number of participants since the beginning proves us right and shows us that our Silvrettarun 3000 has now firmly established itself in the runners' diaries internationally.", Kurz continued.www.silvrettarun3000.com .
