Reconstruction Of The Troglbahn At Nassfeld Goers Ahead

A brand new 6-seater chairlift will replace the existing 4-seater Tröglbahn chairlift from the 2024/25 winter season. Significantly shorter travel times with more conveying capacity promise even more fun on Nassfeld's slopes from the start of the season on December 6, 2024.

The Nassfeld ski area is about to undergo an exciting modernization! “We are pleased to announce the construction of the new Tröglbahn. The detachable 6-seater chairlift from Doppelmayr will replace the previous 4-seater chairlift and will be equipped with the latest safety and comfort standards such as weather protection hoods, seat heating, conveyor belt, bar lock, etc. In addition, all preparations are being made for future autonomous AI-supported security monitoring. In order to take sustainable business into account, the installation of a photovoltaic system on the mountain station building is planned,” reports CEO of Bergbahnen Nassfeld Pramollo AG Christian Krisper.

The 6-seater Tröglbahn chairlift will not only increase the conveying capacity - and thus be able to transport up to 3,000 people per hour - but also, with a travel speed of 6m/s, significantly reduce the travel time to just under 5 minutes. With this lift project, the ski area has reached another milestone in the sustainable development of Nassfeld for the 2024/25 winter season - as Carinthia's largest ski area.
