Powdr Launches Fast Tracks, Pay Extra For Shorter, Priority Lift Lines

Adventure lifestyle company POWDR announced today the launch of Fast Tracks, an upgradeable express lift access experience to maximize guests’ time on-mountain. Offering dedicated fast access lanes, Fast Tracks will be available beginning November 1 as an in-advance or on-mountain daily upgrade to season passes or lift tickets at four of POWDR’s mountain resorts this season – Copper Mountain in Colorado, Killington in Vermont, Mt. Bachelor in Oregon, and Snowbird in Utah.

“Unlike our counterparts in other areas of the hospitality and event industry, the ski industry has yet to embrace the concept of providing options for guests to upgrade their experience,” says Wade Martin, co-president at POWDR. “We are exploring the opportunity to solve for our guests greatest pain points by becoming one of the first adventure lifestyle companies to provide upgrades that maximize the on-mountain experience.”

Fast Tracks will be available to all guests at the four resorts - day ticket holders, ticket pack holders, resort pass holders and Ikon pass holders – and will be available every day until sold out. Beginning November 1, Fast Tracks can be purchased three ways:

  • Online, in-advance:
    • Customers can add Fast Tracks when they purchase a day ticket from the resort website.
    • Pass holders can add Fast Tracks for a specific date they plan to ski or ride.
  • At the resort, day-of:
    • Guests can visit a ticket window or guest service location to purchase.
  • Via Smartphone, anytime:
    • Fast Tracks can be added to a pass or ticket using a smartphone to scan the QR code on their pass or lift ticket or on signage located in multiple convenient locations at each resort.

Once guests complete the purchase process, Fast Tracks will be added to their pass for that day within minutes. The pricing for Fast Tracks will vary by resort and be dynamic based on high-demand periods.

Fast Tracks lanes will be available at the most popular lifts at each mountain resort. Access is limited each day so that Fast Tracks remains a seamless and expedited experience for skiers and riders.

“We know our guests’ number one priority is to spend more time skiing or riding,” said Martin. “With the launch of Fast Tracks, we are providing our guests a way to maximize their time on the mountain – and memories with family and friends. That’s what it’s all about."
