Pierre & Vacances To Open The 5-star Premium Residence L’Hevana , Morzine

The leading French accommodation provider Pierre & Vacances is delighted to announce the opening of the Premium residence L’Hévana in the French Alpine resort of Méribel. The five-star residence opens in December 2019 and is the latest of 26 properties to join the group’s extensive portfolio worldwide this year. The new residence opens under Pierre & Vacances’ Premium brand, which has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2010 and now makes up over 50% of the accommodation favoured by the UK market. The brand was introduced to showcase the company’s finest properties with traditionally designed buildings and the added value of spas and personalised services to match the expectations of an increasingly sophisticated customer.

The Premium residence L’Hévana is conveniently located in the town centre in the Chaudanne area, set amongst pine trees and within easy access to the ski slopes. Blending Alpine tradition with modern comfort, the brand-new property features 95 apartments, each with two to four rooms with state-of-the-art facilities and stylish fixtures and fittings. Every accommodation has its own large wooden balcony and the 17 bigger apartments also feature their own fireplace and sauna. In addition, the property benefits from an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and a contemporary well-being area.

Renowned architect Christian Rey-Grange has designed a traditional residence with subtle touches of modernity and outstanding guest facilities. Working with leading interior designer Gilbert Kerdommarec, they have created bright, beautiful and innovative accommodation spaces using sustainable and certified materials, which are in fitting with the local environment. At the centre of their design is the Deep Nature® spa, where guests can relax and unwind after a day on the slopes, with a range of treatments on offer, including sports massage and facials. Boasting a variety of distinctive rooms, the spa uses its own range of skin care products and other cosmetics, ensuring guests leave feeling fully rejuvenated.

The elegant reception area at the Premium residence L’Hévana is designed as not only a welcome space for guests, but also as an area in which to relax and socialise. Benefiting from a large fire, tearoom and library, the innovative space also has a dedicated children’s play area. Meanwhile, the onsite bar will provide a warm and relaxing space in which to enjoy a Café crème, a vin chaud or an exquisite evening cocktail in an intimate and cosy setting complete with piano. And the residence’s restaurant will serve contemporary regional cuisine in a traditional setting, using only the freshest of ingredients selected by the resident chef.
