New MTB Route Increases Climbing & Hiking In The Pillerseetal

Take a relaxed ride up on an (e-) mountain bike, then conquer the secluded mountains of the eastern Kitzbühel Alps with a hike or climb: the new mountain bike route (10.8 kilometers, 950 meters in altitude) from Fieberbrunn up to the Hochhörndler Hütte (1809 m) has opened versatile possibilities.

If you choose the Bike & Hike variant , hike from here over the Gamssteig to the Wildseeloderhaus, row a lap on the lake of the same name at an altitude of more than 2000 meters, try the delicious Kaiserschmarren and come back to the "bike parking lot" via the flower path. and still enjoys the fabulous view from the Hochhörndler Hütte. The entrance to the legendary Henne via ferrata (1900 m) can now be reached easily and effortlessly. If you cycle up in turbo mode, you might even have enough energy for the demanding C / D variant with its 800 meters of altitude, for which about four hours should be allowed for. At the summit of the Henne (2078 m), the fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser and the Loferer Steinberge is rewarded before heading back towards the bike and back to Fieberbrunn.

By the way: The Pillerseetal scores with numerous bike offers from enjoyable to challenging - and is developing more and more into a hot spot from year to year. www.pillerseetal.at
