Mt. Hood Meadows Hosts "Tails on Trails" Fundraiser For Hood River Adopt A Dog Aug. 16

Mt. Hood Meadows is excited to host its first-ever "Tails on Trails" event Saturday, August 16, which will help raise funds for Hood River Adopt A Dog (HRAAD).
This dog-friendly event, which will take place from 11 AM - 3 PM at the resort, will be an outdoor festival with fun for people and pups of all ages. Activities will include guided and unguided dog-friendly hikes, dog photoshoots, dog-friendly swimming pools, live music, food and drink specials (including doggie SnoCones), some amazing raffle prizes, and a lot more. Guests have a chance to win even more prizes when they're out hiking with their dogs by participating in the resort's ongoing Summer Trail Challenge, Presented by The North Face, on Strava. Both Tails on Trails and the Summer Trail Challenge are part of the resort's summer operations, which are going on now through September 1.
Admission to Tails on Trails is $20 when purchased online in advance or $25 day-of at the resort, with proceeds going to HRAAD. The price includes the doggie amenities and one raffle ticket; additional raffle tickets will be avilable for purchase at the event.
HRAAD is a non-profit charitable organization providing care, love, exercise, socialization, and training to dogs so they are ready to be adopted to loving and forever homes. To get involved, adopt, or donate, visit the HRAAD website at hoodriveradoptadog.org.
