Klättermusen launch Vale active insulation jacket

Designed to be a purposefully adaptive piece of kit, the Vale can be worn as a mid-layer under a technical shell, or as an outer-layer, depending on the environment and activity. Thanks to its WindStretch™windproof outer, and PrimaLoft® insulation patches, the Vale will maintain warmth whilst allowing breathability.

Klättermusen CEO and Nordic Mountaineer Gonz Ferrero says of the Vale, “We put a lot of thought into the usability of this piece, and wanted to create something that was simple, but highly breathable and fast drying. It’s a fundamentally reliable jacket that you can turn to again and again for different activities due to its versatility and functionality.”

Key features:

  • Helmet adapted hood

  • Zipped fleece lined hand pockets that can be used for ventilation

  • Two-way zip

  • WindStretch™ reinforced piping at sleeve ends and pocket lids

  • Soft chin guard and slanted front zipper for comfort

  • Pockets placement adjusted for wearing with a climbing harness or backpack

The Vale is available in men’s and women’s sizing, and retails at £250. It comes in three colourways - Blue Sapphire, Molten Lava and Raven.
