MoonBikes Get Big Boost In Popularity Within Ski Areas In Europe

With 5 new resorts onboard this spring 2023, Utility MoonBikes are facing a big boost in popularity within ski areas operators in Europe.

Winter 2022

After 2 successful seasons of MoonBikes operations in major ski resorts in France (Avoriaz, Val Thorens, Chamonix …) more and more players in Europe are transitioning towards electric solutions. While Avoriaz added one more MoonBike to its fleet, Kläppen became the first Swedish ski resort to take the step with 2 MoonBikes for their daily operations delivered in December 2022; quickly followed by Granberget.
  • Made in France and assembled by Bosch in the Alps, the electric utility snowbike fits perfectly with the needs of decarbonized mobility and ensures the conservation of the exceptional environment of mountain sites:
  • Management and maintenance of beginners areas, shared activities zones, draglifts, carpets…
  • Patrolling of Nordic skiing or snowshoeing trails, and ensuring contact with customers
  • Commuting of staff such as technicians and operators (electricians, snow production team, team managers, etc.)
April 2023

Since end of winter 2023, five additional ski resorts joined the electric transition, and added a MoonBike to their fleet of operations vehicles: Samoëns, La Rosière and Isola 2000 in France, Unterammergau in Germany and Brokke Alpinsenter in Norway.
MoonBikes also took the opportunity of Interalpin (Innsbruck) and Alpipro (Chambéry) fairs to present their utility and commercial solutions to delegations from all over the world. This generated strong interest from worldwide operators.

Winter 2024

While waiting for the upcoming production batch, a few Utility MoonBikes units are still available for immediate delivery, allowing new operators to plan ahead for next winter.
