From 6 to 19 February, Méribel, with its neighbour resort Courchevel, will host the World Alpine Skiing Championships.  Méribel is renowned for its know-how, organisational ability, international-level slopes and enthusiasm for competitions; the resort hosted competitions during the 1992 Winter Olympics, as well as the Women's Alpine Ski World Cup in 2013, and the Finals of the Alpine Ski World Cup in 2015 and 2022.
