• Visit Megève Icon Richard Gay’s new ski technical shop.  Building on 15 years of experience as a ski-room manager in some of Megève’s most luxurious 4 and 5* hotels, freestyle skiing champion Richard Gay is opening a new shop. Opening at the former Barthoux Gallery site in the heart of the village this October, Gay’s shop will be full of specialised ski equipment, with no less than 18 ski boot models and will provide a bespoke boot-fitting service for skiers looking for extra comfort and control. Driven by his passion for technical equipment, Gay will offer personalised advice to ensure his customers benefit from the expertise of a champion. A stone’s throw from the Chamois cable car, it’s the ideal location for skiing looking to upgrade their gear this season.
• Celebrate 100 years of visionary elegance with Maison Aallard.  Steeped in alpine heritage, the village is the birthplace of the most luxurious and family-owned ski apparel line in the Alps, which is celebrating its 100th year this season. From the iconic ski pants created for Émile Allais to its contemporary lines, this brand has woven Megève’s elegant spirit into every piece since 1926. At the head of the house stands Antoine Aallard, representing the third generation and carrying the legacy of his master tailor grandfather. • Support a worthy cause at the renowned L’Élégance a du Cœur automobile event.  Formerly known as L’Élégance, this prestigious automobile event is now driving towards an even greater purpose by partnering with Rallye du Cœur Lyon, a non-profit organisation dedicated to finding a cure for children with cancer. This weekend-long event starting on 31 January 2026 now blends a passion for cars with a commitment to support vulnerable children. A curated collection of exceptional classic and sports cars will cruise through the village streets alongside the families of sick children. A friendly ski race, auction and festive activities will round off the weekend, where all proceeds raised going directly to children’s cancer research, offering them a brighter future. This reimagined event reflects Megève’s belief that true elegance isn’t just about style, it’s about solidarity.
• The Back to Back invitational returns to Megève this March.  From the 20 to 22 March 2026, Back to Back Invitational, Megève’s premier backcountry event, combining sport, music and culture, is returning for its sixth edition. This free festival is an inclusive festival for everyone, from riders to spectators. Expect to see elite athletes showcasing their skills in a medley of mogul, speed riding, ski base jumping and backcountry skiing events. Free and inclusive, this festival invites everyone to enjoy live coverage at the pedestrian-friendly Côte 2000, and dance to the live music at Palais concert hall in the evenings.

Culinary Experiences

• Savour contemporary French cuisine at a newly-Michelin starred restaurant.  Despite only opening a year ago, VOUS is entering Megève’s winter season with its first Michelin star. Chefs Jean Pastre and Julien Gatillon welcome guests to VOUS, offering a relaxed yet luxurious bar-stool dining experience. With just 14 seats, this intimate restaurant serves contemporary French cuisine rooted in the Alps, where the dishes are prepared before your eyes. It’s menu highlights the region’s finest local produce in an elegant setting and offers a fresh perspective on Alpine gastronomy. Recently awarded his first star on 31 March 2025, Julien Gatillon’s elevated VOUS, and its sister restaurant, Anata, which offers omakase-style Japanese cuisine add a bold new dimension to fine dining in Megève.
• Dine at the newly-renovated Flocons de Sel Restaurant.  After months of renovation, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant will reopen its doors just in time for this year’s ski season. With Emmanuel Renaut at the helm, this restaurant offers far more than a meal, it delivers a complete gourmet experience where fine dining meets the simplicity of the mountains. Guided by the seasons, Renaut’s own kitchen garden supplies fresh wild herbs, local vegetables and flowers, created dishes rooted in Alpine nature. Built upon trusted relationships with local producers, these dishes become extraordinary, showcasing the rich heritage and distinctive gastronomy of these mountains. Unsurprisingly, tables here are among the most sought-after in the Alps. 
• Culinary stars align: Two Michelin-Starred chefs collaborate in Megève this winter.  Two generations of Michelin-starred chefs will collaborate this winter to offer a new take on alpine gastronomy. Savoie chef Marc Veyrat and rising Parisian star Mallory Gabsi have curated 10 Alpine dishes driven by creativity, passion and a deep respect for mountain ingredients. The opportunity to savour the flavours of this exceptional partnership will be available on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at lunchtime and in the evening, in the heart of Megève’s village centre.

• Iconic House unveils a renovated masterpiece by Henry Jacques Le Même.  Iconic House, established by Robin and Thibaud Michel, has reimagined 1930s Art Deco-style residences in Megève, converting houses originally designed by Henry Jacques Le Même into exceptional winter retreats. Each property combines architectural heritage and high-end hotel amenities, including a spa, pool, hammam and gymnasium. Designed to offer both character and luxury, these houses provide guests with an immersive experience where timeless design meets modern indulgence, providing the perfect balance of history and style for a memorable stay this winter.
• An intimate British hideaway in Megève.  In the heart of Megève, the fully reimagined Hôtel Saint-Georges, formerly Chalet Saint-Georges, will be unveiled this December, marking the arrival of the luxury Chapitre Six hotel group in the Alps. Redesigned by British artist Luke Edward Hall, the hotel combines sculpted woodwork, mountain murals, bold wallpapers, and vintage finds to create a five* refuge made of 29 rooms and 6 suites, most with balconies overlooking the steeple or surrounding peaks. Amenities include a wellness area with sauna, jacuzzi, massage room, games arcade, and kids club, while Savoie-inspired cuisine is served fireside at La Table du Trappeur.
