Little Nell & ASPENX Welcoming Laduree To Aspen

The Little Nell and sister brand ASPENX are pleased to welcome Ladurée, the iconic French manufacturer and retailer of high-end pastries and candy, known as “douceur” in French, to Aspen this month. Founded in 1862, Ladurée is world renowned for its elegant and colorful macarons – prepared with a secret recipe that’s been passed down through several generations of pastry chefs.

Founded in 1862, Ladurée is an internationally renowned brand, always bringing savoir-faire to its locations around the world, an expert in the French Art de Vivre celebrating its Parisian heritage and gourmand expertise. Ladurée is known for their iconic macaron, whimsical tea salons, and as the founder of the first tea salon ever created in Paris.

The Five-Star, Five Diamond Little Nell is the exclusive hotel in Colorado to offer Ladurée macarons as an arrival amenity in guest rooms and suites, packaged in elegant boxes and making for a memorable souvenir. These will be introduced starting July 4.

ASPENX’s flagship store in Lower Gondola Plaza is the only location in Colorado to carry Ladurée macarons with a charming cart out front and a vitrine inside. Also available are Ladurée candles, jams, honeys and marshmallows. Macaron flavors at ASPENX this season include chocolate, vanilla, raspberry, lemon, pistachio, caramel, rose petal and Marie Antoinette.

A unique and precious Maison, Ladurée continues its rich legacy one macaron at a time. “Macarons are the supermodels of the food industry,” says President of Ladurée U.S., Elisabeth Holder.

“Ladurée and The Little Nell make for a perfect match and we are honored to be the premiere hotel in Colorado to offer these specialty sweets to our guests,” said Little Nell General Manager Jonathan Fillman. “We’re also thrilled to feature Ladurée at ASPENX where you can mix and match flavors, creating your own custom selection to gift to others or enjoy for yourself.”

Shop at ASPENX this summer with daily operating hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
