Les 2 Alpes Opens Saturday

Although ski lifts are not allowed to open yet, Les 2 Alpes welcome visitors from Saturday 19 December 2020. They can come for a relaxing holiday in the mountains and enjoy an array of activities in the snow!
SATA, the ski lift company, will keep the slopes groomed and safe so mountain’s professionals can organise activities for visitors. The ski schools and Bureau des Guides will offer ski touring, snowshoeing, Nordic walking and mountain biking on snow in the Crêtes and Pied-Moutet (Vallée Blanche) areas.

At the bottom of the slopes, family can have fun sledging and children can have their first experience on skis in the kindergarden. Adult beginners can take ski lessons as well.
Another fun family-friendly activity to try is dog sledding! Children aged between 4 and 10 can drive mini snowmobiles on a dedicated circuit.

The cross-country skiing tracks will also be open. Yogi will enjoy the ‘marche yogique’ a combination of walking in the snow and yoga moves.

Those looking for an adrenaline rush can try a tandem paragliding flight, ice climbing jump on a donut-style toboggan over a ramp and onto a big air crash mat (10mX15m) ….

Many restaurants offer take away meals and all the shops are open. Hotels and residences offer discounted rates until the ski lifts can open. The opening date is planned for 7 January 2021 but will be reviewed after Christmas.
