Lenzerheide Bergbahnen: Chairman Of The Board Of Directors Felix Frei Resigns, Juerg Roetheli As Successor

Felix Frei has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lenzerheide Bergbahnen AG (LBB) since 2020. Under his leadership, LBB's administrative structures were modernized and streamlined, decision-making processes were more clearly defined, and the organization was positioned for the future. The company's financial health was strengthened, and debt was systematically and successfully reduced. A special moment was certainly last year, when Lenzerheide Bergbahnen paid a dividend for the first time in many years – a clear sign of economic stability amid turbulent times. During the years Felix Frei served as Chairman of the Board of Directors, LBB consistently presented successful financial results – including the record year 2023/24. Never in its history has Lenzerheide Bergbahnen closed as successfully as this year. Felix Frei is handing over a strengthened and stable company to new hands. The Board of Directors sincerely thanks him for his hard work and far-sightedness and wishes him all the best for the future.

With regard to succession, the Board of Directors recommends that the shareholders of LBB AG elect Jürg Rötheli as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting on 26 September 2025.

The 61-year-old lawyer brings with him impressive leadership experience as CEO, member of the Board of Directors, and Chairman of several companies across various industries and functions, particularly in government-related settings. His career includes senior positions at Swisscom, the outdoor advertising company Clear Channel, Regio Energie Solothurn, and the migration service provider ORS. Since January 2025, he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of RUAG MRO Holding AG.

Jürg Rötheli's primary residence is in Lenzerheide and he has close ties to the holiday region.
