LEKI Introduces Upgradable Cerro S Trigger S Ski Pole For Winter 2025-26

LEKI, a leader in innovative skiing, trekking, and trail running poles and gloves, unveils the first ever upgradeable Trigger S ski pole, the Cerro S Pole for the 2025-26 winter season. An entry level Trigger S pole designed to grow with you, the Cerro S features LEKI’s proven Trigger S grip system with a Dyneema Trigger loop paired with the Trigger Easy Strap, making it simple to click into the pole when skiing and release instantly with the push of a button.
Like the QNTM, the CERRO S is an 18 mm fixed-length pole constructed from durable yet lightweight Aluminum. The CERRO s comes with the LEKI Trigger S grip and our Easy Strap. The easy strap is a traditional loop strap that fits into our Trigger grip system, giving you the feel of a traditional pole strap off the shelf, but unlike the QTMN, the CERRO S accommodates the Trigger loop sewn into most LEKI gloves, so you can experience the seamless integration between the Trigger glove and pole. Skiers can also opt for the breathable Trigger Frame Strap (sold separately) for seamless integration with non-LEKI gloves/mittens. The award-winning Trigger system delivers unrivaled transmission of power and allows for precise pole plants and performance.
When you’re ready to take your skiing to the next level and upgrade to a more full featured Trigger S pole, the Cerro S evolves with you with two upgrade options:
1. Upgrade to the Trigger Frame Mesh Strap, which encompasses both the back of the hand and the palm, delivering enhanced performance.
2. Go strapless with any LEKI Trigger glove or mitten, where the loop is built directly into the glove for unmatched comfort, precision, and seamless pole plants.
“For recreational skiers curious about the LEKI Trigger system, the Cerro S pole offers the perfect entry point – delivering the familiarity of a traditional strap with the flexibility to explore the next level of grip technology,” said Chris O’Donoghue, general manager for LEKI USA. “The Trigger system has redefined the way skiers connect to their poles for over two decades, and now with Cerro S it’s even more accessible to everyone.”
Cerro S is crafted from lightweight yet durable 18mm aluminum shafts, weighing just 8.2 oz per pole. It’s available in fixed length sizes in 5 cm increments from 115-130 cm.
