Leitner Builds New Six Seater Chairlift For Filzmoos

The official start of construction for the new Sechser-Mooslehenbahn in Filzmoos took place in temperatures that were by no means wintry. “Investments like these secure the economic future and create jobs in the community and the region,” said Governor Wilfried Haslauer at the groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility in the Pongau tourist resort.
“Filzmoos offers the best conditions for summer vacationers and winter sports enthusiasts. Ski aces like Michaela Kirchgasser and Philipp Schörghofer laid the foundation for their world careers here, ”emphasizes Governor Wilfried Haslauer. With the new lift project, a new office and cash desk area is being created at the valley station with a shop, toilets, rooms for technology, first aid, bus drivers and a snow groomer garage. "The small but fine Filzmoos ski area in the heart of the Skiwelt Amadé will have a modern facility and a new entrance area that will more than do justice to the usual high standards of these ski areas," says Haslauer.
Mooslechner: "Positive impulse for summer and winter."
Mayor Christian Mooslechner happily comments on the festive moment: “For the Filzmoos community, the new Mooslehenbahn is the most important private investment in decades. It will give our place new positive impulses in both summer and winter. Due to the importance of the project, the municipality and the tourism association are contributing significant direct grants to the construction costs. We wish the Bergbahnen Filzmoos and the owner family a successful implementation of the major project. "
In operation from autumn
"Thanks go to the state for the support, and of course we would like to thank all of the companies involved in the construction", says the Moosleitner family, who, after the arduous journey to the authorities, are looking positively to the future. “The cableway from the manufacturer Leitner corresponds to the new technical standards. With the modern infrastructure, there is more time for skiing on the perfectly groomed slopes. We look forward to commissioning this autumn, ”said the Moosleitner family.
