Lech Bergbahnen: Honoring Loyal Employees And A New Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board was elected at the Annual General Meeting of Lech Bergbahnen. Christoph Pfefferkorn is the new chairman, his deputy Patrick Ortlieb. At the subsequent summer festival, in addition to employees who were able to celebrate their anniversary or were dismissed from retirement, three lifesavers from 1981 were also honored by Christian Gantner.

On 29. The second Annual General Meeting of Lech Bergbahnen AG took place on 1 July. This time, the election of the Supervisory Board was also on the agenda. This is now composed as follows: Mag. Christoph Pfefferkorn (Chairman of the Supervisory Board), Patrick Ortlieb (Deputy), Carolin Schertler-Manhart, Dr. Rupert Manhart, Florian Moosbrugger, Peter Scrivener and Hannes Skardarasy.

Years of experience

At the Rud-Alpe, Klaus Nußbaumer, CEO opened the official part with the farewell of three long-standing employees who together have lived for over 60 years in the company. Andrea Wallraffe has been there since 2011 and was most recently responsible for the cash register at the Rüfikopfbahnen in the summer. In his 18 years, Alois Spreitzer went through various stations at the Lech mountain railways and in the end provided for the physical well-being of the team in the canteen. Wolfgang Jansche can look back on 32 years. As main plant manager, he was responsible for the Zugerberg, Kriegerhorn and Steinmähderbahn, among other things. Afterwards, the jubilees were the focus. Markus Kofler (10 years), Helena Adams (15 years), Matthias Brunner (20 years), Johann Rieger (25 years), Klaus Maghörndl (25 years), Thomas Maghörndl (30 years), Michael Jochum (30 years) and Martin Schranz (35 years) show that there are still employees who remain loyal to their company for decades.

With delay

In January 1981, TR DI Michael Manhart, Helmuth Platter, Georg Neumann, Erich Schonger (†) and Rudi Mathis (†) brought a seriously injured guest with two snow-and-road vehicles to Langen via the closed Arlberg and Flexen road and thus saved his life. 44 years later, Plattner, Neumann and Manhart were now honored by the state of Vorarlberg, representing Christian Gantner, for their efforts at that time. The latter once again described the dramatic events to those present.
