Kitzbuhel: New P3 Lounge With A 360 ° Panoramic View Ready For Opening

A cozy lounge has been created at one of the most beautiful viewpoints in KitzSki near the Pengelstein mountain restaurant. This was done in time for the start of the season with the two KitzSki board members Mag. Anton Bodner and Mag. Christian Wörister in the presence of Mayor Dr. Klaus Winkler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bergbahn Kitzbühel, put into operation. The keys were also handed over to Clemens Riedlsperger, operations manager of the Pengelstein mountain restaurant and the P3 Lounge.
The official opening and inauguration of the P3 Lounge will take place on January 14, 2022.
The P3 Lounge was planned by the technical department of Bergbahn Kitzbühel. With an unobstructed view in all directions, the P3 Lounge offers 60 seats inside and 140 seats on the unique terrace with a glazed windbreak. The architecture skilfully combines traditional and modern elements. The facade was provided with larch shingles and large panes of glass allow a unique view of the surrounding mountains from inside the P3 Lounge.
The arched terrace faces south-east and south-west and offers first-class sun and terrace enjoyment throughout the day. The concept of sustainability was implemented in a forward-looking manner using photovoltaics and a state-of-the-art pellet system. In addition to natural design, KitzSki also pay attention to a clear and reduced design in new buildings.
In culinary terms, the P3 Lounge relies on regional products such as the “Pengelstoana” sausage from the butcher Huber in Kitzbühel and lovingly prepared snacks and desserts. The drinks menu offers everything that skiers want to enjoy during a break. The team around Petra Niccolai-Eppensteiner is enthusiastic about the new workplace and is looking forward to many guests.
