Ischgl: Construction of Hölbodenbahn C1 and Sassgalunbahn C3 Ongoing

At the end of the 2024/25 winter season, the Höllboden C1 chairlift and the Sassgalun C3 chairlift were dismantled. These facilities will be rebuilt in the Tyrolean ski areas of See im Paznaun and Fieberbrunn.
The mountain station of the new Höllbodenbahn will be built around 500 m east of the Idalp at a new location between slopes 10 and 11, just above the Idalp.
The diversion of the planned Höllboden cable car and the relocation of the mountain station opposite the existing 8-seater Höllboden chairlift are intended to significantly improve the crossing for winter sports enthusiasts in the area of the Höllboden/Idalp mountain station. This required, among other things, the construction of two new crossing supports.
Concrete work is in full swing at the new valley station building at Höllboden.
At the beginning of July 2025, the last column foundations were concreted by helicopter and the cable car technology was delivered and the assembly of the cable car technology for the Höllboden and Sassgalun cable car mountain stations began.
Both facilities are scheduled to go into operation in time for the start of the season on November 27, 2025.
