Hoka Becomes Official Partner Of The Kat100 Miles

This year the KAT100 Miles will take place for the second time - Austria's longest Ultra Trail. A tribute to the passion for running and for nature - the route takes the participants over the most beautiful and challenging peaks of the Kitzbühel Alps.

After the extremely successful premiere of the event two years ago, the second edition of the KAT100 Miles will follow from August 5th to 7th with start and finish in PillerseeTal . The ultra trail running brand HOKA ONE ONE®, which will appear as a new sponsor this year, was also won over for the popular event.

This year, the KAT100 Miles, which covers 173.9 kilometers and 9,996 meters in altitude , will be held as the Austrian championship and as a qualification run for the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB) - the most famous ultra in the world. The kick-off event in 2019 was a complete success for the PillerseeTal. Many athletes came with their families or partners to explore the region and the trails - which boosted tourism in the region. In addition to the KAT100 Miles, a wide variety of routes are available this year, ranging from eight kilometers for beginners to the KAT100 Endurance Trail with 91.5 kilometers.
